SYNADE - SYNADE

This release is the first full-length under the moniker "Synade", a.k.a. Florida-based musician Arek Oros (otherwise known by the pseudonyms The Moonlight Is Endless and Enterfant), coming off their EP "Control and Destroy" from December 2020. This new release features 12 tracks compiled into two cassette sides: an a-side entitled "125BPM," and a b-side entitled "110BPM". The album was recorded live using analog hardware, in conjunction with software, from Summer-Winter 2020.

It creates a lovely atmosphere of delightfully well-constructed IDM rhythms, DSP'd synth crunches, cerebral vocal chopping, and clean sub-textures. The album's sound is very fresh while also being reminiscent of hallmarks of the IDM hayday, from early Somatic Responses, Autechre, Lowfish, and particularly Mouse on Mars.
